Another powerful TED talk.... This one is about empowering children to say "I Can" and the power that children have to change the world if we adults support and believe in them. A great idea to think about implementing in our future classrooms.

This is great! I love it. As teachers we can totally relate to this while we are teaching students in the classroom. The different steps that the students go through to get the attitude 'I can do it' can definitely been seen in the classroom while teaching specific subjects. There are many students that struggle and get frustrated with the subject they are trying to learn. They need to see the change and then be the change. It is going to be hard for us to implement that as teachers because getting children motivated to change will be the hardest part.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the Change: The students need to be aware of the change they are making and strive to be the change and feel the change. Like I said before, the students might be able to see the change but they will not be motivated to be the change because they are just too lazy and don't care. We as teachers need to make kids care about the change. How will we do that?
